When we got into Czechoslovakia,
the Germans were tired, hungry and knew the war was just about over and
they had been defeated. They were giving up all over the place. The guys
would load them up in trucks to take back to prison camps. When there
were 25 or so on the truck they would complain that there was no more
room. Our guys would point a gun at them. Then they would squeeze up and
10 or 15 more would get on, as you can see in the pictures. |
