| Comments: | My father, Charles E Morris was in the 150th Engineering Combat battalion (Army). I believe he was a Corporal Combat Engineer. He was a farmer from VT and could of had a deferment bujt wanted to serve. He was part of the 2nd wave in Normandy. He was a waterpoint, build builder and supply clerk, so my mom says. He's deceased (died at 65), but leaves 6 kids and a wife and many grandkids. My son is doing a veteran's project in and we stumbled on your site. RDolton (daughter) |

| Comments: | We will be visiting site more often for info on dates and location of Bn.. Our father was not transfered into Bn. until sometime around February 23, 1945. He originaly was a replacement Infantry who landed on Utah beach D-Day, was then put into the 90th Division on June 14th. He received a Combat Infantry Badge that same day, and fought with his Regiment until the 19th, when fighting the German breakthrough from the Cherburg Peninsula was wounded. After months in hospitals he was in limited service as a typist when his brother, James Inman also in the same Co., was able to transfer him into the 150th. James Inman, our uncle, joined the 150th in England just before they crossed the channel. Both brothers were together until the 150th was transfered from the 3rd Army. At this time Paul went to the 673 Engr. ToPo. Co. which built the "Battle Route of the XII Corps" map. Thank you for a great site. God bless all the men and women who fight for Democracy then and now. |

| Comments: | My father, George W Donaldson, was in the 291rst combat engineers in World War 2. He fought in the Battle of the Buldge, and was in the third wave on D Day. I grew always wondering what my father went through, up until just lately he never really talked about his experiences. I went through his scrap book and looked at alot of great photos of the engineers building the bridge across the Rine, and some other bridges. |

| Comments: | I was in the current 150th in Mississippi from '96-'02. I relisted for 12 months in December '04 when I heard they where going to Iraq. I patroled the roads and villages of the Sunni in Western Iraq with Bravo Co. some of the best Volunteers I will know. As their "Doc" (medic) I tended their wounds and injuries and when I couldn't do enough I reverently placed them in a black bag with a prayer for their families. I hope you older soldiers who came before us feel we lived up to the lineage you started. |
